GETTING HERE

BY TRAIN 

The nearest train station is Alviano Scalo (10min in a car or 30min on a bike)

BY CAR

Coming from the South: Exit the A1 motorway at Attigliano and turn left onto the SP Bomarzese towards Bomarzo and Civitella d'Agliano; after 2km turn right on the SP 19 Valle del Tevere towards Orvieto and Civitella d'Agliano.

Locanda Monte Pimpio is on your left along the SP 19 at km 3+800. 

For Casettone: After 11km turn left on the Strada della Barca di Alviano, which is a rural track on a steep incline. The crossing is on a sharp bend with limited visibility near two buildings, positioned either side of the SP Valle del Tevere.  The entrance to Casettone is on the right and signposted a little while after the end of the steep slope.

Coming from the North: Exit the A1 motorway at Orvieto and turn left on the SS 205 towars Bagnoregio and Amelia. After 5km tun right onto SP 98 towards Bagnoregio and Lubriano. After 4km turn left on the SP 46/SP 5 towars Castiglione in Teverina. Past the town of Castiglione in Teverina, after 7 km get onto the SP 19 Valle del Tevere towards Bomarzo

For Casettone: get ready to turn sharp right on the Strada della Barca di Alviano after 3km, just after  passing the Mola Solis fishing lake on your left. The crossing is on a bend with limited visibility and Strada della Barca di Alviano is a rural track on a steep slope. 

The entrance to Casettone is on the right and signposted a little while after the end of the steep slope.

For Locanda Monte Pimpio: keep driving on the SP 19 Valle del Tevere until km 3+800; the entrance to Locanda Monte Pimpio is on your right.
